Maybe it is that rawness, or the themes of working for what you have that bring up the feeling, but the album brings to mind an old America, working on the farms and the idea that good does actually exist in the world. If you’re looking for sounds indicative of The Wallflowers, you’ll be disappointed. Whereas Dylan’s voice seems to be surpassed by The Wallflowers’ fast-paced, upbeat guitar riffs, this album has a tempo that he can keep up with.
